I would like to endorse what Senco96 has reported about River Valley, I was there the same weekend but I arrived on Wednesday evening and unfortunately,  No Chipper not opening until Easter, no shop across the road and there won’t be for a while I’ve  been told it’s up for sale, and no food in the pub until Thursday night. So it was cook in the van, luckily we had brought some grub with us.
this was my first visit here secret garden also and it was my maiden voyage in my camper van, everything went exceedingly well, other campers very friendly and lots of advise offered.
By the way Senco96, I was one of the musicians in the pub on Thursday night, the regular group kindly let me join them for a few tunes, I was the bloke playing the concertina.

Can the man, I remember you well! You added to a great night. I was sitting at the bar behind the other lady with the concertina!
