Stayed there one month ago. It was our first time there and we were impressed. Spotless clean and a great welcome, fair cost, cannot ask for more.

Apple Farm Cahir. Very rural and tight enough access around the site. Trees were a little overgrown and scraped a little on van. Very quiet and peaceful plus you get a free bottle of fresh apple juice on entering. The site was full in mid September even though we were told there was no need to book. We were allowed park on the grass under a tree. There was a power point in easy reach.
We never used the rest of the facilities except the recycling that was nice and clean. We had a nice outdoor bbq we brought ourselves.
I believe there is a barn which guests are allowed to cook in also. It has nice level pitches. I would recommend a stay if in the area. Plenty dogs around too including ours and no problem.

Spent 5 nites here 1st week august. The site is easily accessed and pitches are large and for the most part level. Not all have EHU. There are plenty of water points and both black and grey water disposal.

this site is running at 50% capacity and there were mostly tenters there this week. Although the weather didn’t exactly play ball with us we really enjoyed our stay here.

there  is still a bottle of juice on offer on arrival and the farm shop has many item for sale produced on site, jams juices fruit and of course Cons own brand cider which was delicious. Unfortunatly on this occasion the home made Ice cream wasn’t available.

campers kitchen and free showers available and are really rustic…. But clean.

Now the dog question… their welcome leaflet says dogs welcome but you must ring ahead before hand to advise and request approval. I suppose it depends on dog breed etc.

kids can enjoy the on site play ground and adults are free to ramble around the various orchards on site.

it’s a really fantastic site and excellent value for money. Cost is €9 per adult with no unit charge and €2.50 for EHU / day, costing us 105 approx for the stay.

definatly worth coming back to, well done all!
if it cant be fixed with a hammer, its an electrical fault......

I love this site. it has been a while since I stayed there but I called in this year to get Apple Juice for the family and some of Con's grown up apple juice for me...!!!! I love the concept that they have with this site, a simple charging policy and rustic camping environment. Have to visit it again soon as it has been too long since I last stayed there.
