Spent a few nights here this week. Clean and very peaceful. On a working fruit farm the facilities are clean if a bit rustic. Really quiet and a good place to get off the world. Kids loved it. Free showers and bottle of delicious Apple juice. We need more like this site in Ireland.

This campsite is only 30mins from our home and we love to stay there when the boss (Deirdre) has a night out with the girls in Clonmel

HOWEVER we now have a dog (Charlie) and they dont allow dogs on site :(
Happy Camping

We stayed here on the Sunday 18th & Monday 19th august and loved it,

Plenty of dogs there on both nights as there was a dog show in colonel on Sunday and in Killarney on the Tuesday, plenty not scooping the poop after the dogs either,

Seen a few scooping but loads of poop in the middle of the green area on Monday afternoon, we were not impressed but its not like that normally so let's hope they keep it as good as ever,

Will be going back again for sure as we love it there for some reason,

We would rate it 7/10 for this site

Have they removed their No Dogs allowed policy then ?? as far as I'm aware they never allow dogs on site.
The owner will even ring the nearby Glen of Aherlow campsite asking if he has space for people with dogs. :)

It still says it on the website "no dogs"

But It has been a busy week with dog shows,

Sunday was clonmel

Tuesday was Killarney

Thursday was limerick

Saturday was Newcastle west

I could be wrong with days and venues but I know it was busy with dog shows this week,

May be it was a case of have pitches occupied with dogs or have empty pitches :(

Hope this helps

:) I was just curious that's all, as I knew they had a no dogs policy, maybe it was an exception for the dog show.

We were in killarney on the Monday & Tuesday, the campsite was full of K9 for the show and not one poop to be seen very clean and very quite at night also which was good. B)
