According to their Facebook page in changes for this year Woodlands have tarred the site roads and showers are free. Great to see campsite owners making improvements to their site every year.

Stayed here last year for a week.

Lots good about this site. The owners are on hand at all times to ensure the site is always clean and tidy. Very convenient for visiting Tralee town centre. Definitely would recommend and here's hoping I can return in the not to distant future.

We stayed here last weekend. (10/11 July 2020)

POST LOCKDOWN.

Here is my review.

Reception: Very clean and staff were very helpful.

Pitch: We asked could we hold a pitch for a friend and they again were very helpful put us up in a hard stand for a mobile home not finished but it was perfect for or needs and also away from the busy side of the site.

Toilet block: We didn't use the toilets or showers as we have both in or camper. Just used the chemical toilet and freshwater. Again these were very clean. Lots of hand gel around the place.

Children areas: I was surprised to see the playground open. The ball pitch is fab and the walk around the little Forrest is lovely.

Outside the park: Lots of walks and cycle paths around. Very close to Tralee town.

€87 for two nights (2 Adults and 3 children with electric hook up)

A good campsite will come back again.

Stayed on this campsite before and it was from that experience that I wanted to return. Everything about this campsite is 5 star. From the moment you arrive to check-in, to the moment you leave, everything is pristine. The pitches are all well laid out with plenty of room. The site is convenient to Tralee town centre, cross the road, a short walk through the rose garden and you are there. The town is well suited to cycling. Plenty of cycle paths run in both directions from just outside the campsite. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. Mike never walks by without stopping to have a quick chat. The site has a real homely feel to it…it is easy to see that the site is run by owners who have experience of being campers.
Would I go back – definitely!

Charlie & Me (and Deirdre) returned to the Woodlands and like everyone has said from arriving to leaving it was fantastic .....
