We just love this camping park it clean spacious and so close to Tralee town.

But my pet hate sticks its head up here PAYING FOR SHOWERS... but that aside this park is just fantastic.

At €22 for 2 adults a dog and unit its worth the shower token !!!!

A great park to stay at... Just 10 minutes walk from Tralee this is a campers delight. Beautiful surroundings tucked away in a tranquil peaceful setting.

This is a huge site which is well maintained. The toilets, showers, kitchen and surrounding areas were absolutely spotless. Staff are very welcoming upon arrival & are always around...

If parents just want to chill there is a games room and a big tv & dvd player and a safe play area for kids.


I can highly recommend Woodlands in Tralee.

We got here late Friday night and it was great to see around 30 other units here mostly from the Phoenix Motorhome Club.

Looks like a very active club looking forward to chatting to some members ...

You're hymer was spotted in woodlands at the weekend, the lad that spotted you is a member of the Phoenix club and displays a campsite review sticker on his windscreen, but he is not sure what the inter web is (he is about 75 or 80yrs)

I asked him to put it on his van and spread the word and he said work away,

I asked him had he seen ye in Tralee he said no, there was lots of vans there,
I mentioned the shed and it registered with him then he was saying that they had a good time in Tralee as always,

It was a great weekend despite the heavy thunder & lightning

They seem to be a very active club I hope my bit or PR pays off and we get a few more members on this forum ...

A gem of a find for us. A short walk through Tralee rose gardens into town. Excellent modern facilities onsite. Small shop, cafe etc. Staff relaxed and friendly. Rates very reasonable. Water available at all hook up points as far was we could see. Good motorhome service point as well. We would certainly use this site again.
