This camping site has it all .......

20 mins form Kilkenny city €8 in a cab if you don't want to walk or cycle.

It has plenty of hard stands with electric hook up a campers kitchen, TV room & pool table and loads of loos & showers....

€24 euro for a unit 2 adults and a dog, peak season the location and the fact there is NO CHARGE for showers is a great plus.

The local pizza place delivers to the site too !!!!! :)

All in all clean great location and polite staff

Have to agree with Aaron. Just stayed there for a couple of nights. Excellent site. We like a bit of peace and quiet but being able to walk into the centre of town. This one has it all. And free wifi..........

Had booked a hardstand and rang ahead to say that with traffic etc i would be late(ish) arriving. Dan was waiting for me when I arrived and I found him to be an absolute gentleman. He misjudged my caravan as it was too large for the hardstand that he had reserved but he couldn't do enough to get us sorted with a grass pitch.

Stayed there for 4 wonderful days. The place was spotless, I saw the cleaners going into the toilet blocks at least 3 times a day while I was on site.

Fantastic location for visiting the city. Definitely a site that I plan to visit on many more occasions.

Love this site - stayed last summer for the Neil Young concert and a couple of times since then. All set for Kilkenny September meet up - hopefully - but agree whole heartedly with the positive comments here - lovely riverside walk into The Marble City for dinner and site well managed and run.

Left today after a great weekend with the Camping Crew and friends, first time here, very impressed, site is well laid out, nice spacing between pitches, spotless, no issues with EHU, toilets & showers very clean though not the most modern but this wasn't an issue, 7.5km river walk to the Black Abbey & Saint Canice cathedral, next time I'm bringing my bicycle, I'll be more careful with that ESB pole also, Dan the proprietor has done a great job here.. i LOVE this site!! just back from a weekend here and its in my top 5 for sure.....

Its not the prettiest...its not the most modern....its not the levelest.... BUT, theres just something about Treegrove that hit the right note with me.

so, €60 for the 2 nights 2 adults and EHU. large gravel pitch with water and electrical points readily available. Georgous horses in the pen behind us to watch us set up with great intrest. spotless facilities, the games room been shut. covid regs adhered to.

a lovely canal walk to the city centre and all that entails. its about 4 kms so wear the walking shoes. its quicker to take the main road by almost a kilometer, but the canal walk is very scenic. note however that the street lighting on the walk is turned of at 10.30pm and its deadly dark after that.

the site is spread over 3 levels and there are a few glamping pods there. Dan is an excellent host and we enjoyed a laugh at check in.

beware the cattle grid at the gate, Mrs K dropped her mobile at the wrong time and thankfully a camper who has skinnier arms than me rescued the evening... at least we can laugh about it now!

a great site, and bonus its open all year round. its a must if visiting the area and a definite 10/10 from us!!
if it cant be fixed with a hammer, its an electrical fault......
