Ferrybank Caravan & Camping Wexford

Mrs B, Charlie & I are thinking of heading to Ferrybank Wexford this weekend, has any one stayed here?

Ok firstly let me start by saying we like this caravan park, its location is fantastic, the view is fantastic its open ALL YEAR that to is fantastic, the pitch sizes and there are 55 of them (altho not all are level) are a good size wide enough to take a caravan & car all with electric power and there is a water tap near by ...

HOWEVER that's where FANTASTIC STOPS!!!!

This caravan park is dated the loos need up dating and on the subject of the loos... IF a park is open ALL YEAR I for one believe ALL the toilet blocks should be open to! this was not the case!

Although the gents shower block was fresh smelling & clean the gents loos (in the block that was open) had not got the nicest smell :sick: OH and my pet hate €2 token for the showers.

Bins I like plenty of bins on a site and there were LOADS of BIG Wheelie bins and ample small wheelie bins for recycling and at almost every BIG Bin there was a tap .

At €25 a night for a unit, 2 adults & hook up, its worth it for the location but not for the quality of the park its self !!!

We are giving this park 3 stars even with the great location but its the overall condition of the park that we are staring...

We took our first trip of 2014 to Ferrybank and again what a location it was nice to see other campers out and about this early in the year.
