This is a family run site with 2 cottages for rent a very large field for tents and a cul-de-sac of hard stand with 4 power points for Vans or Motorhomes.

There is a campers kitchen 2 very clean bathrooms and a new loo block being built.

The site is on the Barron Estuary Co. Wexford, suitable for fishing & boating with loads to drive, walk or cycle to in the area.

Very nice site worth a visit.

The owners have done a lot since March with more EHU's, campers kitchen and recreation room extended and signposted shore walks. More work planned too. A fantastic location overlooking the estuary for wildlife and general views of sunrise, sunset, moon/stars and everything in between...a real feel good spot.

Good site which the owners appear to be improving all the time. The site is divided into three areas almost, a hardcore covered area at the bottom of a steepish incline which acomodates approx. 10 to 15 units all with ehu, right on the waterfront, this does prove to be a bit dusty on a windy day. Beside it is a field on higher ground which slopes down to the seashore again with a limited amount of electric points and takes both vans and tents. A third field accomodates the overflow at busy periods. Pitches are not clearly defined or numbered throughout. Toilets and showers are available, the shower/toilet pods are amongst the best I've seen anywhere. More toilets and showers are being added in a portacabin style building. There is a campers kitchen and recreation building with a panoramic view out over the bay. There is a coffee trailer onsite also with a limited food menu. A signposted seashore walk does a loop skirting the site and there is plenty of space for children to play. There are plenty of seats and tables in and around the central area to make it the focus of activities and live music is available on weekends. Only in its second season, this site appears to have made huge strides in a short period and almost gaurantees a very relaxed and laid back stay. Ideal location for visits to Tintern Abbey, Colclough Gardens, Duncannon, Hook Head etc. Van + 2pers + ehu E20 per night.

A great welcome from Margaret & John to this lovely waterfront site. We stayed 2 nights and were amazed at the number of tents on site, probably in excess of 50. There were probably 20 motorhomes and EHU for at least 30, with well spaced out pitches too. The facilities are pretty good, with excellent toilet pods and showers, all free. There is a coffee trailer which opens from around 9 AM until about 9PM and a hot food trailer serving burgers, chips & chicken. And I must say well cooked too, fair play. There is a well signposted walk that takes you around the main field and returning along the sea shore.
On the Saturday night there was live music from 730 until 1100, with lots of seating both inside and outside. It was a lovely family atmosphere there, kids playing, parents enjoying a chat with the music in the background......and Granny Roche enjoying it from her armchair....!
