Kilmore Quay Caravan & Camping Park in Wexford is beautiful...

Its 50mtrs from a beautiful beech, there's a Mace food store 10mtrs from the gate.

The site it self was opened the tail end of the summer season 2018 so the grounds are still maturing.

The loo's are SPOTLESS clean and very bright, there's a campers kitchen and an annex room with books and it's soon to be furnished.

It's €25 per night for a unit with 2 adults and 2 children .. in saying that if you have 1 or 2 more little children the price is the same.

Alice the owner can't do enough to help you out so if you need anyway help with anything just ask.

Thumbs up from us and we WILL be back ....

Kilmore Quay Holiday and Camping Park 5 years 5 months ago #654

Seen a lot of good things about this park on the various campervan Facebook pages and so had high expectations in advance of our visit and was not disappointed, met the wonderful Alice on arrival and she could not have been more helpful, if the Irish Tourist Board could bottle more like her at each holiday destination they would be onto a winner, her enthusiasm for her village and locality was infectious.

The site itself is very well located near the beach, harbour and village with a well stocked minimarket right at the gate.

The Saltee Chipper & Restaurant in the village is one of the best ever! Van and two people with ehu is €25 in high season.

Facilities are clean and well laid out, showers were hot and spacious, campers kitchen well laid out also. Excellent shortcut to the village from the field area to the village and the camper services area is well done.

Few tiny quibbles, even a temporary bin/ recycling area in the overflow field might be an idea plus maybe a few lights at the upper end here would guide the journey home late at night and finally a male only problem, a few urinals in the male toilets would speed things up in that department.

Definitely on the to return list.

It's becoming a real pain....no sense in booking anything at the moment - only ends in disappointment.

So far and this is only wishful thinking I fear - Halloween Weekend is still outside the restrictions period...
