Wicklow Way B&B and Campsite.

ATTENTION all Tent campers..

This IS THE CAMPSITE for you.

Wicklow Way campsite is open to tents, campervans & motorhomes (caravans as far as I know are welcome but I doubt if you will climb the hill on site) but HELLO tenters this is the site for YOU 

Its a bit of a climb on the roads to get here and not the best (not too bad) roads either. But when you get here OMG, I haven't been this excited about a campsite in years.

Now the excitement is only for tenters.

The site has a private electric gate at the entrance and a bit of a climb up to the site I was skidding at one point on the hill.
When you get here, its nice, great views plenty of car parking. Its a popular site for walkers & hill climbers with toilets in the carpark.

Also in the carpark are 3 hard stand van pitches(with power & water) with another two pitches one each end of the loo block this is where I was pitched V4. 

As Charlie & Me waked around admiring the tent area and campers kitchen complete with vending machine we noticed a large tree lined area (this is a Christmas tree farm) for "wild" camping for tents & vans it is a fantastic camping spot (no hook up|).

Things to do walk, hike or relax. The night we were here Beyond The Pale concert was on 200mtrs down the road. It was a good gig as we  got to hear it for free...

€35 including hook up. Showers €2 for 6mins (3 showers, 1 loo & a baby changing loo). €30 wild camping.

Now full discloser I told the girl (Mary) I wasn't happy paying €35 been parked beside the loo block so I got it for €25.

I won't come back here but not for any bad reason its just not the type of site for me BUT HELLO if you have a tent & like walks and hikes COME HERE.
