Bayview Caravan Park is part of the Gold Coast Resort i.e Golf Course, Hotel,Leasure Centre, Playing Field, Holiday Homes & Camp Site.
Its a very clean and nicely layed out camp site with abaou 60 static unite not for rent a fine size tent area and 30 camping pitches with EHU and water points in the area.
The loo block is a bit dated but its VERY clean with a campers kitchen beside it. In the campers kitchen theres a well stocked vending machine.
The taps on the water points are not the ones that you can screw your hose to but theres plenty of them.
Now foe my only negitive point... The price !!
We paid €76 for 2 nights with EHU a unit, 2 adults and a dog. This "I" feel is very expexsive.. and they charge €2 for a dog !
Apart from the cost the site is beautiful, clean and well maintained.
I doubt if we would go back at the price thoe.

Agree completely on the price, facilities not particularly clean and demand for tokens seems to be overdone particularly with the prices being charged. I suppose as it is a site with mainly mobile home static customers and the business from campervans is just a very small part of their total business. Can also be a bit noisy at night.

Down here this weekend, not much has changed since the previous reports, funny enough prices still very similar. We paid €72 for 2 nights with EHU for 2 adults in van.
Had to cut my post short because of the unstable WIFI which was free site wide, but the site was very nice and clean toilets and showers dated but very clean, though the hand dryer in the men’s didn’t work. There was hair dryer in toilets on a coin box, the showers are expensive at €2 per token and it has to be 2 x €1 coins. The campers kitchen and laundry were very clean a fantastic fridge freezer that looked brand new, nothing in it but it was plugged in.
Mainly static mobile homes with impressive gardens patios etc.
Not so many camper vans, mainly touring caravans with awnings, though by the look of some of the double axel ones I’d say they are there for the summer.
We used the bar in the Gold Coast golf hotel for a few drinks on Friday night and booked a table for Saturday evening, food was lovely very generous portions and I mean very generous, the chicken wings was 24 in a portion. I had a lovely 12” pizza and a few pints of Guinness (€5.80), the wife had chicken curry which was nice and spicy.
There were a lot of people with young family in the bar which is good but they could really benefit from having some form of bar entertainment later in the evening.
Great sports facilities, huge football pitches. There was also a leisure centre we didn’t use but they offer special camper guest rates €5 & €3.50 for adult and child rates. Lots of people with bikes as very close to the Waterford greenway.
A bit expensive for us as there was no evening entertainment so we won’t be back.
