with the caravan still off the road, and needing a much needed camping fix/getaway, myself and her good self spent the new February Bank Holiday weekend at this site in the wonderful "Yurty and the Tramp" yurt complete with outdoor hot-tub. And what a joy it was!!

I was glad to see the site was busy, there were at least 10 units there as the Hymer club were having a get together and it lended to a bit of life at the site.

it is a cosy site located 6 kms from the town of Ballaghaderren up a single lane road. it consists of hard stands, and 3 yurts, 2 of which have the aforemetioned hot tubs. our particular Yurt is also pet friendly. we spend the 2 evenings cooking ourselves in the tub enjoying the cool night air and sipping on long cold drinks..... not much better!
 
Facilities are rustic and needed some attention but were overall satisfactory. showers were free and the huge rainfall shower heads were fantastic to say the least.

things to do... as Aaron said there is quiet a lot on site to engage in, or you can just RELAX!!

5 minutes gets you to Ballaghaderren, 50 minutes to Carrick on shannon, and 50 mins to Castlebar. an hour will see you in Westport.

it is a site that has a lot of development potential and I believe the owners are going to do so. 

All in all a great relaxing few days ( €350 for the pair of us incl a basic breakfast and full use of the wood fired Tub). there is a Wood fired Pizza oven on site and packs start at €20 / for 2.

5 years later and Charlie & Me are back at Willowbrook a few changes since our last visit.

3 new glamping pods join the 3 yurts the grounds have changed slightly with a play area for children.
(NOT A PLAY GROUND)

All in all another relaxing stay. €18 for a 1 adult in a unit including hook up.
