This was a real treat. A warm welcome from the rangers set the tone for the weekend. The site looks out over the forest and mountains; the view is really beautiful.  We were invited to choose any pitch we liked and the pros and cons of each area were explained. Each pitch is a good size and nicely levelled. There is the warmest toilet and shower block we’ve come across yet! with loads of hot water.

Tollymore Park itself is just fabulous. Well marked looped walks of different lengths and difficulties meander over the whole area and yet it retains a wild feel. We were lucky to have the additional of winter wonderland weather for the photos. Campers essentially have the place to themselves at night too, as the main gates close to visitors - and wildlife abounds.   We will definitely be back!
