stayed here for 5 nights with herself 2nd week August, and had the mini heat wave as well. It is a fantastic site. For caravan and 2 adults we paid £127, which included showers and EHU. we were stationed on the upper tier with fantastic views of the lakes. Each pitch was fully serviced and with water pressure that would cut steel! the pitches are almost 20 ft wide. The ones on the top tier have a slight fall back to front and most campers had levelling blocks at the front wheels. Enough room for caravan and 2 cars should you require same.
A dog friendly site, and unlike the South, I've noticed there does not seem to be any restrictions on dog breeds allowed on site.
The facilities are spotless and bright. However, for the size of the site I'd recon more that 2 cubicles would be required. I am also not a fan of the half doors on the cubicles and showers. A minor complaint however.
Showers are powerful and not scalding hot. They are not adjustable, however the disabled showers are. Washing machine and drier are available and at £3.00 for 45 mins, a little pricey compared to what we paid on other sites north of the border.
There is a clean and modern area for black water disposal.
there are several fishing Jettys at the lake front and families enjoyed splashing and swimming around in the lake.
there are a large number of statics now on site but away from the touring area as mentioned by Tourer. Belcoo is a quaint little village and nearby are the beautiful hills and caves of Fermanagh to be explored. Enniskillen is a 20 minute drive for major shops, Belcoo has a couple of convenience stores if your stuck.
the owners are welcoming and very hard working, the grounds are very well maintained.
if is wasn't a 2.5 hour drive from Chez Liam, I'd make this a regular trip. Easily in my top 3 sites. well done all involved!!
