This aire type facility is run by Nevins Newfield Inn and is located just across the road from the bar and restaurant. There are 6 spaces for motorhomes / campervans, each with electricity and fresh water, but note there are no facilities to dispose of grey or black waste. The road was quite busy during the evening but went very quiet later on.
We had an excellent meal in the outdoor heated, covered and dog friendly courtyard at Nevins. Breakfast is also available there.
The Western Greenway is within very easy reach with what look like superb looped walks / cycles but no dogs are allowed on this stretch due to the presence of livestock so we didn’t explore it this time. Behind the parking area is a lovely quiet road however with gorgeous views over Clew Bay, and we had a lovely walk there.
