A few miles from Castlebar is Carrowkeel I have never been here before. Its a site with about 40 pitches and some room for tents too.
Water points & electric hoop ups are a plenty. Most of the hard stands are old and smallish there are about new bigger hard stands at the front of the site in saying that the hard stands are fairly level and all have hookup and water nearby. We had to use our long lead.
The toilets are dated but very clean and the showere are free and there's plenty of hot water.
There's a bar, restaurant & games room on site although all closed due to to COVID but food & drink was been served through a "take away" window from 7 to 9pm.
Now for the payment ... the night before we came here we paid €35 for a pitch yes €35 .. here for a hardstand including hookup it was €20.50 yes €20.50 and worth every last cent...
Nothing to do but chill and relax while the children play ball or play on the slide & swing.
We WILL be back

We stayed at Carrowkeel out of season, making use of their “safe parking” facility which operates over the winter months. For €15 we had a perfectly level hard standing pitch with electricity, water, grey and black waste disposal. The other amenities were closed for the winter - we knew this in advance of arrival.
There are a number of static caravans on the site, and space for about 20 touring units, but it was very quiet when we stayed. We got a lovely welcome from the owner and in truth it was perfect for what we wanted.
Note that there is a fast flowing river alongside which could be a problem to visitors with children.
