TOPIC:

This is a new(ish) site on the grounds of the Manor house right beside a stable 5KM from Kenmare.

The site runs onto the sea but no direct beach access as such , more a harbour and shore line. The MH pitches are in a walled type Garden setup which is beautifully laid out. Wide Gravel pitches with water and Elec on each stand, very modern well thought out showers and toilettes which are laid out in a "stable" theme , all included in the price which is very reasonable at €30 for 2+2 .

A nice touch is the common BBQ covered area which has brick built grills that you just need to pop your briquettes onto and cook away. There is also a fire pit by the BBQ ...really nice and the staff are Very Friendly

Is the caravan park that the Brennan brothers off TV and from the big hotel in Kenmare own ?

Had email from their Guest Relations people yesterday & I quote " Unfortunatly, we no longer provide facilities fir campervans on the estate". Pity about the loss of this site as it had set very high standards and was an exceptional place to stay.

We stayed there a good few years ago and I have to agree it was an amazing campsite.

it was a bank holiday weekend when we stayed there and on the Sunday morning John Brennan himself was out making bbq sausage rolls for everybody.
