Yeah, for us it was (and is) that on average. From the time we untie the first bag, to finally fitting the outwell carpet in the main room... an hour.
Add another 30 mins or so to set up airbeds, kitchen and all the other krap we don't need, but bring anyway.. and that's all I'm saying on that matter...



It is a great tent though. Lots of space.

Hi Blag I feel your pain,thats why I need a trailer and a 7 seater with the 2 back seats removed when we go away.

This is why I have a motorhome

I have just bought a Kampa Filey 6 Air
The tent is up in about five mins but it takes me about another 3 hrs to stake it out and set up kitchen , bedding and all the other stuff that we said we would not bring with us LOL

We use a Quechua 6 man we got in France a couple of years ago. Grand big tent. Got out a good few times last year with the good summer. Hope to start early this year. Don't really know when to start. I'm guessing it's the night time temperatures that set this timetable. Looking forward to the 4 of us getting out there this year!!

I bought a four man in France a few years back and sold it last year , sorry I sold it now.

Get yourself a Guinness bed and you will have no problems with cold nights LOL.
