TOPIC:

This is not a campsite.  Its not even an aire.  But it is very friendly and very convenient as a stop off point for a night.  

So, we wanted a stop off point on the road from Dublin to Doolin.  Ballinasloe is the half-way point.  Thanks to the Motorhome Parking Ireland app, we found the Moycarn Lodge.  We called them and asked if we booked a meal could we wild camp in their car park for the night.  They were only too happy to help.
The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. 
The car park feels very secure and it is locatd beside a lovely little marina.  I would imagine this is a lovely spot in the summer.  
I'd definitely call in advance.
