We stayed here last weekend, arrived Friday afternoon. We paid €20.00/night for 2 nights incl EHU. Their website states €23/night for EHU, maybe because we paid cash we got it for €20.
There are 70 pitches 30 or so with EHU
We were told to park on any free pitch in the first 2 rows as these are the ones with electric.
A lot of pitches were already taken, many had markers down that they were already taken and van was away.
This really is an Aire as there are no toilet or shower facilities. There is grey and black water disposal. Recycling and waste disposal at no charge.
Plenty of fresh water points located around the site many in the small hedges separating the rows, you just need to look.
There were a number of touring caravans that appear to be here for the season or longer, some had little storage boxes at the back of the caravans.
There was a good mix of motor homes, caravans and tents.
It is pet friendly but keep your pet on a lead and clean up after it - only as would be expected.
They have a barn that campers can use in the evening. Noise curfew was 23:00hrs.
They also had a fridge at the entrance with free range eggs, milk and scones available with an honesty box.
Fantastic views over the sea, looking towards Kilmore quay and Bannow bay, the Salyee islands and Baginbun head. There is a beach 10mins walk, but I was told there were better beaches about 1-2 km away. Fethard is about a 10-15 minute walk, the walk to the village is easier than the walk back. Lovely village with bars cafes takeaways.
We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back next year with a car so we can explore more of the area.
Highly recommended except that you need your own toilets and showers.
