The Aire in Cobh is just great. Lovely atmpsphere in the town, with great offerings in cafe's and bars. There are lots of restaurants serving outdoors, with lovely views overlooking the harbour. You can rent a rib and take a self-drive cruise around Haulboline and Spike island. Definetly one to add to the "go back there again" lits.

Cobh Aire...spent 2 nights here last weekend ( April 6-7) as we were attending the Cobh Sonia O'Sullivan 10 mile race. Had to brave Storm Kathleen on the N7 en route, not for the faint hearted in a high sided motorhome for sure!
Anyhoo..30 spaces in this Aire, with only about 6 taken up as we pulled in around 3pm on the Saturday. Spotless with stunning views across to the Naval Base. Fresh water Tap and grey water disposal on site. An onsite single sex toilet, spotless, and chemical cassette disposal available. Numerous recycling bins available also. There is now a Coffee trailer with reasonable coffee and snacks parked up at all times.
The walk to the Titanic experience building is about 10 minutes. You will also pass the train station and can travel, if you wish, the short hop to Cork City.
A great Aire, and thankfully the storm was replaced by a breezy yet warm Sunday.
Other County Councils take note, this is the way forward if managed correctly!!
