Killaloe Camping 2 years 5 months ago #1472

This is a secluded quiet site (although less quiet on the weekend!) about 5km from Killaloe. It is run by Piper’s Inn and is adjacent to it. The grass pitches are arranged in a horseshoe shape with a central area which is used for tents and a children’s play space. There are gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. About half of the spaces have electric hook up points. There is a basic but clean toilet and shower block with plenty of hot water and a sink area also. Showers are free.
Piper’s Inn is a lovely bar and excellent restaurant, we had 2 lovely meals there. It is very popular with locals and as such we were advised to book a table as we were told it can fill up fast!
