While the idea of spending a night in a tent may not be everyone’s fancy, many still want to experience waking up in the great Irish outdoors. If you’re the type who likes some creature comforts but wants to get back in touch with nature and take part in some of the best outdoor activities on offer around Ireland, then glamping is the perfect holiday for you.

Glamping is another word for Glamorous Camping and can take many forms from bell tents, log cabins, microlodges, romany caravans, Pods to name but a few. Many parks throughout Ireland now offer glamping facilities.

Have you tried it? If so let us know what you thought of it ..

Hi Aaron, We are just back tonight from doing a 3 week stint as wardens for our friends glamping site called Tepee Valley in Armagh and we had quite a few visitors from the south this year as well as the north. this site has been going 6 yrs, but it has really taken off this year probably due to the good spell of weather. So back home for a couple of nights then back down again for the bank holiday weekend.

The caravan park is a Caravan club CL, so you would have to be a member of the club.

They take caravans and motorhomes, but no tents. Each pitch is hardstanding and is fully serviced and there is 2 toilets and 1 shower for £12.50 per night inc EHU
