This park is just up the road from Drews. My first impression on pulling up to reception was how peaceful and relaxed it is. The sign on the door said to pick any pitch and someone would come over later.

The pitches are mostly hard standing with electricity close by and water taps shared between 2 or 3 pitches. There is a slight slope on the site so the pitches are not quite level so don't forget your ramps.

There is a small games room, tennis court, mini golf, TV room and wifi. The showers, toilets and wash up are built into the original courtyard buildings. All are spotless like everything else here. Showers are free and are very good. If you want to treat yourself there is a full restaurant on site.

We're just here for the weekend but we will definitely be back. This site has the cheapest child rate we have ever seen so it is great value for families.

Have been camping on the Drews site for 18years almost and never felt the need to drive to this site, but we did this past weekend and OMG its a beautiful site great if you have children ( we don't ) and the private walled garden is beautiful too....

Great site worth a visit & we will be back..

Third visit to Ballinacourty House this year, always a favourite with us firstly as it is a little over an hour from home and also it offers all we could wish for in a site, scenic, well managed, excellent staff, good clean facilities, large emplacements both shaded and open areas, restaurant on site, tennis court also available, peaceful and for us importantly good walks nearby. August prices van,two people +ehu E27 per night. Another plus for us is check out time seems to be fairly relaxed, still remains a favourite!!

Mrs G and I stayed here in our motorhome on 10 July for 1 night. Very good set up in relation to Covid precautions - the restaurant had literally only just opened post lockdown and the meal was pretty good but the weather was so nice we wish we had cooked a BBQ instead! Lovely rural location with walks and countryside all around - views of the mountains and the on site walled garden is wonderful. Lots of tents in a fairy ring in the middle grassed area - clearly good for families with children. Good value and good setup - will be back!

for all those who have camped here... advice required. we are due to stay here end of this month. I've re-watched the charlie and me video and also google street view. now, we have a long unit, almost 10 meters between caravan and tow vehicle, and the swing into the entrance looks a little, shall we say, snug! any one with big units ever have any problems turning into the entrance from the narrow road here?

if it cant be fixed with a hammer, its an electrical fault......

I don't remember any difficulty getting in the entrance and I was driving a T4 with a 6 berth caravan. The laneway up to the site was a bit narrow and I wouldn't like to meet someone coming the other way.
