We stayed on this site over Easter. The weather was a bit mixed but we had a great time. We stayed here many times as always the campsite facilities were very good. Ken runs an excellent site and the place was immaculate and well kept. The kitchen had a microwave, fridge, freezer, cookers and a kettle. There is Wi-Fi available also.

We will definitely be back.
Doolin as a location is amazing and well worth visiting. One thing to note though Doolin tends to be very windy so prepare accordingly.

God, it must've been 10 years plus since we last visited Nagles. So last weekend we headed of for the 3 hour trip to Doolin.
Check in was smooth, we had pre booked 2 nights (92.00 Eur for 4 adults with EHU).Showers 1 euro /10 minutes Entry governed by a registration number plate reader.

Safe to say Nagles has gone from strength to strength having increased in size since our last visit. Pitches were level and were surrounded by perfectly manicured grass areas.  We set up in the 1st area, Pitch 14. Its the section closest the showers, Loos and other facilities. The pitches to the rear of the site are fully serviced.

The site has some big plans going forward, and they hope to open a new area, 20 plus pitches, on the left before you go through the barrier.  The deadline date is possibly June or July and the concrete pitches are already in situ.

They are also hoping to open on onsite coffee shop ( its the old coastguard building attached to Nagles shop/reception) From what we saw its all but ready to go. It will be a welcome addition in the event you don't want to venture the half hour walk to the town. As mentioned there is an on site shop, but its has seasonal opening, June onwards I believe.

As to be expected the facilities are excellent, large, clean and spacious. A large kids playground is just behind this block. There was a good buzz around the site as there were a good few units and tenters. It is advisable to book ahead for the coming months as when we were there overheard the owner say he had to stop taking bookings for the next few weekends as he is fully booked up.

Glad to have made a return visit and we are sure to return.
if it cant be fixed with a hammer, its an electrical fault......
