In all the years coming to Doolin I have NEVER stopped at O'Connors Riverside Campsite.

I don't know why I never came my friend Chris thinks its a great site ......

OK its mins from the hotels, restaurants, bars & takeaways BIT !!!!

Now remember this is only MY OPINION...... its very basic ..

Maybe I expect more after visiting Nagles in Doolin or The Glen Of Aherlow Caravan Park or the others that are to a higher standard but ....... this site is just so basic....

Some pitches have hook up one section hasn't, there are some great glamping pots like teepee's

The toilet block is a tad dated its clean but there's just something about it, campers kitchen is good & clean..

I was quoted €18 per night for 1 adult aa dog Hook Up & a MH. I was charged €20.... you have to pay for showers.

The pitches (hard stands) are MASSIVE seriously big..

In saying all that would I stay here again ..... no I paid €20 in Nagle's last night and it was much better value for the facilities and free showers...

Happy Camping

O'Connors Riverside Campsite Doolin 5 months 2 weeks ago #1510

Saw your review Aaron, just adding our own based on a stay a couple of weekends ago. We couldn't get Nagles as they were closing for the winter so we ended up at O'Connor's.

Situated in the heart of Doolin with a view across to the Cliffs of Moher and a background of the waves crashing against those cliffs, this elevated campsite is in a beautiful location. We were given free choice of pitch; there is a sheltered section and a more open area beside the river so we picked the latter. Windy but picturesque!

The large toilet and shower block is spotlessly clean, there is also a kitchen, tv / games room and well appointed laundry. There are about half a dozen glamping yurts on-site as well as the touring facilities.

O’Connor’s is open until the end of October / early November, extending the season like many others this year. A lovely spot.
